Amina Husain, M.D.

Dr. Amina Husain joins Ohio Eyecare Specialists, Inc. with expertise training in the areas of cataract surgery, cosmetic facial procedures, oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery as well as refractive surgery.     

Dr. Husain was raised in Dayton, Ohio and is a graduate of Centerville High School.  Her training includes Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, followed by residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  She completed an internal medicine internship at Kettering Memorial Hospital, where she also did an externship at The American University in Cairo, Egypt as well as an externship in corneal diseases at Sir-Run-Run-Shaw Hospital in Hangzhou, China. 

Dr. Husain has earned two fellowships from Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.  Her fellowships include Oculoplastics and Reconstructive Surgery, Laser and Endoscopic Facial Aesthetic Surgery, as well as Refractive Surgery.
